Biographie

Norbert « Nono » KRIEF, tout petit déjà, se déhanche et s’agite à l’écoute des premiers disques des BEATLES, ROLLING STONES, TYA, Otis REDDING, J.HENDRIX et tant d’autres, que son grand frère lui fait découvrir ; il lui enseignera les bases de la guitare.

En 1977, il crée avec Bernie BONVOISIN, le groupe TRUST, qui atteint rapidement le succès, notamment avec la chanson : ANTISOCIAL, plusieurs millions d’albums vendus, et des tournées marathon en France et en Europe. Le groupe TRUST s’impose auprès des jeunes dans les années 80.

Entre les dissolutions et les reformations de TRUST, Norbert Nono KRIEF devient de 1986 à 1994, le guitariste attitré de Johnny HALLYDAY. Après les concerts historiques, du Parc des Princes , Bercy et autres.

Nono quittera Johnny pour sortir en 1995 un album Pop-Rock : TOUCH « Marche avec moi », produit par Rupert Hine (Tina Turner, Madonna, Murray Head, Chris de Burgh et autres célébrités) pour EMI et en 1996 pour la sortie d’un nouvel album de TRUST « Europe & haine » chez Warner Music. Il a également participé à de très nombreux albums, pour différents artistes, notamment Johnny Hallyday, Jean Jacques Goldman, Florent Pagny, etc… et figure à ce jour sur plus d’une centaine d’albums ; une méthode vidéo pour les guitaristes est commercialisé en 1994: Master Class avec Nono.

Seul guitariste français à avoir 2 guitares de marque légendaire dédicacées à son nom ; en 2002, une FENDER Stratocaster, la « Nonocaster », l’une d’entre elle est exposée au Hard Rock Café de Paris, une autre au musée MuPop de Montluçon. Et en 2009 (125 ème anniversaire de la marque), une GRETSCH, la « Nono Corvette G 5135 N ».

Quelques autres participations: Tournée avec CHRIS SPEDDING, bande son DVD d’ALAIN ROBERT (L’homme araignée) avec STEVE SHEHAN, Le FRIENDSHIP BLUES avec GREG ZLAP, Fred Blondin, Fred Lerner et bien d’autres…

Son premier album solo est sorti sous le nom de : « Norbert Nono KRIEF » le 6 juin 2011, suivi de plusieurs tournées, dont une en partenariat avec HARLEY DAVIDSON.

Il intègre en 2012 le projet d’ERIC LEVI « ERA » pour plusieurs concerts sur 2012 et 2013, en Russie notamment, le groupe est composé de Leland Sklar à la basse, Karl Brazil à la batterie, Rob Harris, Eric Levy & Nono aux guitares, 40 choristes et un orchestre symphonique.

Fin 2013 avec Yoan & Celine Manesse (YMCMProd) ils créent ensemble « Solo l’Emission » diffusée sur la chaine EnormeTV.

Il a animé une chronique quotidienne sur la radio OUI FM durant le 3eme trimestre 2014.

Il est chargé de la programmation et direction artistique du « Crossroad Blues Festival » d’Issy Les Moulineaux pour la saison 2014/2015/2016.

Il participe à la tournée 2015 « Autour de la Guitare » de Jean-Felix Lalanne avec Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Christopher Cross, John Jorgenson, Ron Thal, Michael Jones, Paul Personne, Axel Bauer, Jean Marie Ecay, Jack Ada & Laurent Roubach.

Juin 2016 il reforme TRUST pour fêter les 40 ans du groupe par une tournée triomphale qui aura duré 2 années du 1 décembre 2016 au 1 décembre 2018 suivie d’une tournée d’été des festivals 2019.

Biography

Norbert  » Nono  » Krief , already small , sways and shakes listening to the first disc of the BEATLES , ROLLING STONES , TYA , Otis REDDING , J.HENDRIX and many others, that his big brother made him discover , he taught him the basics of the guitar. In 1977 , he created with Bernie BONVOISIN the band « TRUST », which quickly achieved success , especially with the song « Antisocial ». Several million albums sold, and touring marathon in France and Europe. TRUST is needed for young people in the 80s.

Between dissolutions and reformations TRUST, Norbert Nono Krief is from 1986 to 1994, appointed guitarist for Johnny Hallyday. Based on historical, Parc des Princes, Paris Bercy and other huge shows.

Nono leaving Johnny in 1995 for recording an album Pop- Rock: TOUCH  » Walk with Me « , produced by Rupert Hine for EMI.

He also participated in many albums for various artists including Johnny Hallyday, Jean Jacques Goldman, Florent Pagny, etc … and is to date participated on more than one hundred albums, a video method for guitarists is marketed in 1994 « Master Class with Nono ».

The only French guitarist to have 2 guitars autographed legendary brand in his name and in 2002 a FENDER Stratocaster, the  » Nonocaster « , one of them is on display at the Hard Rock Café in Paris, another one at the MuPop Muséum (Montluçon). His first solo album was released under the name: « Norbert Nono KRIEF » on June 6, 2011, followed by several tours, including one in partnership with HARLEY DAVIDSON.

In 2012, he joined ERIC LEVI’s project « ERA » for several concerts in 2012 and 2013, in Russia in particular, the group is made up of Leland Sklar on bass, Karl Brazil on drums, Rob Harris, Eric Levy & Nono on guitars, 40 singers and a symphony orchestra.

At the end of 2013 with Yoan & Celine Manesse (YMCMProd) they created together « Solo l’Emission » broadcast on the EnormeTV channel.

He hosted a daily column on OUI FM Radio during the 3rd quarter of 2014.

He is in charge of the programming and artistic direction of the « Crossroad Blues Festival » of Issy Les Moulineaux for the 2014/2015/2016 season.

He participated in Jean-Felix Lalanne’s 2015 « Around the Guitar » tour with Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Christopher Cross, John Jorgenson, Ron Thal, Michael Jones, Paul personne, Axel Bauer, Jean Marie Ecay, Jack Ada & Laurent Rubash.

June 2016 he reformed TRUST to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the group with a triumphant tour that lasted 2 years from December 1, 2016 to December 1, 2018 followed by a summer tour of the 2019 festivals.
